triangular alopeciaAbstract
Temporal triangular congenital alopecia is considered a rare condition, despite the fact of the increased number of cases reported in recent years. Its etiology, age of clinical presentation, and appropriate therapeutic modalities are still uncertain. Trichoscopy has become a key diagnostic tool in the diagnosis of this condition and differentiation from similar pathologies. A review of published literature on this entity was performed; clinical and the dermatoscopic characteristics of our cases are presented.
