Congenital non-syndromic partial anonychia

Abstract

Female patient, 8-years-old, clinical picture compatible with scabies. The physical examination revealed complete absence of toenails; no other lesions or accompanying symptoms were observed, nor any malformations in other parts. During the medical consultation, the mother reported the absence of toenails since birth and child’s normal psychomotor development. Furthermore, no history of malformations, nor any medication intake during pregnancy were reported.
