Cylindroma located in the pinna: Case report

Abstract

Cylindroma is a benign, slowly evolving neoplasm of the adnexa of the face and scalp. They appear solitary or multiple. Multiple cylindromas characterize Brook-Spiegler syndrome, most of which are associated with the CYLD gene. Cylindromas do not present a fully determined histogenesis. The case of a 78-year-old female patient with a diagnosis of solitary cylindroma in the left tragus region is presented, and a brief review of the subject is made.
