Pyogenic Granuloma: Multiple lesions affecting the pinna. Case report and literature review

Abstract

Pyogenic granuloma is a relatively common condition that manifests at all ages and has been associated to trauma, although this does not represent the majority of cases. The case of a patient with long-standing severe facial seborrheic dermatitis is presented. It is accompanied by spinulate demodicosis of the face and neck, as well as one-year multiple tumour-like lesions of the left external auditory canal. The clinical picture is reviewed, as well as the literature.
